Face seals are mechanical seals based on rubbing parts made of silicone carbide, tungsten carbide, ceramics, carbon, siliconized graphite or rubber.
Asbestos-free gaskets are constructed of elastomeric materials and inert fillers, reinforced by Kevlar and inorganic fiber and used in the food industry and drinking water supply systems.
Sealing rings are designed to seal stems and body-bonnet joints of valves used in high and low pressure conditions, oil and gas industries, gas turbine engines, and pressure vessels.
Spiral-wound gaskets seal round holes in male-and-female and tongue-and-groove flanges. Such flanges are used on valves, pipes, pumps and other equipment in the chemical and oil refining industries. Spiral-wound gaskets are constructed in accordance with Industrial Standard 26.260.454-99, ANSI B16.5, ASME B16.20.
Self-adhesive sealing tape and PTFE sealing cord can be applied to flanges and valve stems instead of sealing rings.
Graphite gaskets (reinforced, unreinforced and crimped) and obturating rings are designed to seal flanges of the main joints of primary coolant pumps and electrically driven feedwater pumps. They can withstand pressure from 10 to 38 MPa.
